Each student in the School of the Prophets shares in the gift of fellowship with his or her own God-given talents. Our students and teachers are drawn from every corner of the world. Politically, denominationally, and theologically, we represent a diverse spectrum of viewpoints. We all share one essential characteristic: God has called each one to faithful discipleship and leadership in the Church of Jesus Christ.
"Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." —Proverbs 9:9-10

We study the Word and works of God, challenging students to imagine what God will do through them and their peers in their ministries and service within the Church of Jesus Christ.
We are preparing visionary leaders and lay members to bring clarity and direction to their ministries; leaders who will choose to enact what can be instead of settling for what is.
Here you will find courses that are both intellectually challenging and spiritually stimulating as you learn from Latter Day Saints and others from a variety of denominations—all of whom also have extensive ministry experience. You will also find a seminary education that is about much more than academics, as you and your classmates learn from and encourage one another in a close-knit community of grace. The School of the Prophets is about more than learning, it is about building lasting relationships.
"Joseph Smith Jr. taught us that to be saved, we had to become our own prophets. And, that’s what defines real prophets: they empower others to become like them, not keep them ever dependent upon them." —Alexei Christopher Mattanovich
